Kanye Wests Rings In 2019 Reasserting Support of Donald Trump

Hip-hop superstar Kanye West kicked off the New Year doubling down on his support of President Donald Trump.

“Trump all day,” West wrote on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a string of dragon emojis.

“Just so in 2019 you know where I stand,” he added.

West vowed to perform wearing a Trump Make America Great Again campaign hat publicly, which he argued symbolizes being a free thinker.

“One of my favorite of many things that the trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me who I should do because I’m black. That’s real racism,” he wrote. “From now on I’m performing with my mutherfucking hat on.”

Monolithic loyalty of black Americans to the Democratic Party, Kanye noted, is a result of Democratic “control” and programming, the fashion mogul asserted.

“Blacks are 90% Democrats. That sounds like control to me,” he wrote. “They will not program me.”

West shocked the hip-hop industry by publicly supporting the president in 2018. In October, the outspoken Trump fan visited the president in the Oval Office. Donning a red “MAGA” cap, the rapper praised the president and sounded off on the 13th and Second Amendment, North Korea, and Superman.

A few weeks later, West vowed to “distance” himself from politics. His decision came days after, Turning Point USA spokesperson Candace Owens’ claimed during her debut of “Blexit” — a campaign aimed at moving African-American voters away from the Democratic Party – that West designed Blexit’s campaign t-shirts.

West denied Owens’ assertion and said he felt he was being used to “spread messages” that he didn’t believe in. Owens apologized for misleading West and her supporters.
